In a quiet English village the Saint meets the elderly Warshed sisters who are pillars of the community. Nonetheless they are harboring a dark secret from their past which Alfred Powis threatening on exposing. When the Saint discovers this, he assist the 3 gentle ladies and find out the reason for the blackmail.
